Types of Residential Care Homes
Residential Care Homes for Persons with Disabilities (RCHDs) in Hong Kong are operated by non-governmental organisations and private organisations. In accordance with the mode of operation, RCHDs are generally categorised into four types:
- Subvented RCHDs
- Self-financing RCHDs
- Private RCHDs under Bought Place Scheme
- Private RCHDs (Non-Bought Place Scheme)
