The operation of RCHDs in Hong Kong is governed by the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Ordinance (Cap. 613, Laws of Hong Kong), the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Regulation (Cap. 613 sub. leg. A) and the Code of Practice for Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) that sets out the principles, procedures, guidelines and standards for the operation, keeping, management or other control of RCHDs.
