Private RCHDs under the Bought Place Scheme (BPS)
The SWD launched the "BPS for Private RCHDs" to encourage private RCHDs to upgrade their service standards, to increase the supply of subsidised residential care places and to help the market develop more service options for persons with disabilities.

Private RCHDs (Non-Bought Place Scheme)
Private RCHDs are operated by private organisations. Admission arrangements are to be agreed between the persons with disabilities or their family members and home operators, without the need for referral from the Government or other organisations.
